Pierre Hardy For Nars

I love to talk about shoes and I love to talk about makeup as well... in this post I will talk about both so, you can imagine my happiness. NARS is one of my favorite makeup brands, the quality of their products is really good plus, it’s a very fashion forward brand that collaborates in many important ‘international’ runways and constantly launches special 'edition' collections involved with the fashion industry that seek to mix the best of both worlds.

Pierre Hardy and NARS got together to launch a collection where color and shapes are the inspiration. The collection is based in six pairs of nail lacquers and two blush sets.... all of them are inspired in the Pierre Hardy ‘shoe’ summer 2013 collection. The beautiful part is that each set comes in a mini ‘shoe’ box, cover included... just to die for!

I ‘met’ the collection last week at the event NARS organized in Mexico City.... I tried all the tones, but my favorite duets were: Easy Walking (camel and pink), Sharks (yellow and lavender) and Sharplines (peach and burgundy). If you are a master in the nail art department you will definitely end up doing amazing mixtures among any of them (minimalism suggested, please) but if you are not a highly skilled artist (as myself) you can also play with the different colors and mix-match them on your fingers and toes *runs to paint her nails*

Hablar de zapatos me emociona, hablar de maquillaje también... y en este post voy a hablar de ambos, así que literal muero de emoción. NARS es una de mis marcas consentidas de maquillaje, su calidad es muy buena y está por demás decir que es una marca muy relacionada con el mundo de la moda; es protagonista y patrocina muchos de los principales desfiles internacionales y constantemente busca alianzas y colaboraciones especiales que mezclan lo mejor de ambos mundos. 

Pierre Hardy y NARS se unieron para crear una colección en donde el color y las formas son la fuente de inspiración. La colección se basa en seis pares de esmaltes de uñas y dos blush sets... todos inspirados en la colección de verano 2013 de Pierre Hardy. Lo bonito es que cada pareja de esmaltes viene en su ‘mini’ caja de zapatos.... con fundita incluida y todo, una verdadera chulada.

Yo por mi parte, conocí la colección la semana pasada en un evento organizado por la marca... probé todos los tonos, pero mis duetos favoritos son: Easy Walking (camello y rosa dorado), Sharks (Amarillo y Lavanda) y Sharplines (Durazno y Vino). Si son muy hábiles en el tema del ‘arte en uñas’ podrán hacerse decoraciones súper padres (minimalismo recomendado, por favor)... si son más bien como yo y la habilidad no es lo suyo, pueden jugar con todos los colores y hacer combinaciones entre duos para las uñas de los pies y manos ¡se ven de impacto! *corre a pintarse las uñas*
