Don't Leave Me

I really enjoy mixing different colors, -and patterns- and this outfit is no exception. The blouse is one of a kind due to it's colorful pattern and the trousers (you've seen them before in the Pistachio post) and shoes compliment it perfectly. The outfit is fun but yet formal. The maxi clutch is amazing, I had actually been looking for one for a long time and this one definitely caught my eye... isn't it gorgeous? I have to admit that I have a lot of problems with small bags, which is why I'm not a clutch person; I usually carry a lot of stuff, so the size of this one was perfect and the leather quality amazing.

What are your plans for this week? Mine will keep me busy but in a good way.

Mezclar colores inesperados y diferentes estampados es algo que disfruto mucho a la hora de vestir y esta vez no es la excepción. La blusa es realmente única por su estampado y colores, los pantalones (los cuales ya habían visto en el post Pistachio) y zapatos complementan muy bien todo el look. Creo que el outfit es diferente y hasta cierto punto inesperado pero aún así formal. El maxi clutch me encanta, de hecho ya llevaba bastante tiempo buscando uno así y me costó trabajo encontrarlo... este cumple con todos los requisitos. Confieso que tengo problemas con las bolsas pequeñas, generalmente cargo miles de cosas por lo que no uso muchos clutchs... nunca me cabe nada, pero en este tengo espacio suficiente para acomodar todo y la calidad de la piel me pareció asombrosa. 


¿Cómo pinta su semana? La mía bastante ocupada, pero en proyectos que me hacen muy feliz, así que no me quejo.

Flower Tag by Kenzo

Last Wednesday I was invited by Kenzo to a lovely brunch for the launch of their new fragrance: Flower Tag. Kenzo did an excellent job and they treated us like royalty. The food was amazing; it included sweet treats, chocolate cookies and -my favorite- macarons. The place was really cute (all flowered by poppy), and meeting fellow Mexican bloggers was the cherry on top. I got the chance to talk to Guapologa, Boticapop, Aldo, Bere from tarde o temprano, Aldonza, Adrian from looks4love, Gaby from Modacapital and Ceci and Jeny from coolhunter.mx.

We watched the video for the new campaign (the first one without an Asiatic model), tested the perfume (which by the way smells incredible) and enjoyed some time together.

The best news is that Kenzo is launching a contest for Mexican bloggers; the winner will win a trip to Paris to interview Patrick Guedj, the artistic director of the brand, among other really cool activities.   

This will be an incredible experience, I'm eager for it to start and to see what happens! I'll keep you posted...

El Miércoles pasado tuve el gusto de ser invitada por la marca Kenzo a un evento en donde nos presentaron su nueva fragancia: Flower Tag. La verdad nos trataron de lujo. La comida estaba deliciosa había de todo: galletas de chocolate, pequeños pastelillos y por supuesto mis favoritos: macarons. El lugar estaba increíble, todo adornado con flores de amapola. Pero la cereza del pastel fue tener la oportunidad de platicar con otros bloggers mexicanos como Guapóloga, Boticapop, Aldo, Bere de tarde o temprano, Aldonza, Adrian de looks4love, Gaby de Modacapital y Ceci y Jeny de coolhunter.mx 

Tuvimos la oportunidad de ver el video para la nueva campaña en el cual, por primera vez utilizaron una modelo que no es Asiática (de hecho es Polaca), probamos el perfume -huele delicioso- y disfrutamos de un agradable tiempo juntos.

La mejor noticia fué cuando nos comentaron que Kenzo hará un concurso para Bloggers Mexicanos. El ganador se hará acreedor a un viaje a Paris para entrevistar a Patrick Guedj, director artístico de la marca entre otras increíbles actividades. 

Creo que esta experiencia será asombrosa, y estoy muy emocionada y ansiosa por ver qué sucede. Los mantendré informados...

I definitely, absolutely love this outfit. I think it has all the right elements: the jumpsuit, the shoes and the jewelry. Of course the shoes are one of my preferred items, how strange ha. These Valentino bow shoes are one of my favorite pair in all of my wardrobe. The Alice + Olivia jumpsuit is gorgeous and comfortable; I can say it's unique, special and unexpected. I love the effect given by the wide leg when you walk, so natural and flattering. It's perfect for the last days of summer. You can wear this outfit to a brunch with friends and with the right accessories, even to a casual business meeting.

On the other hand, it seems that the weather is letting me use some more of my summer pieces; I think this is my favorite season of the year.

In the next days I will be uploading some of the pictures of the Bridal Special, it's so sweet and romantic, like a fairy tale.

Estoy totalmente enamorada de este outfit. Para mi, todos los elementos son increibles: el jumpsuit, los zapatos y los accesorios. Por supuesto, una de las piezas que más me gusta son los zapatos ¿qué raro no? Los Valentino rojos con ese espectacular moño, son uno de los pares favoritos que tengo en todo mi guardaropa, de verdad me vuelven loca. El jumpsuit es de Alice + Olivia (una de mis marcas favoritas), es espectacular y aunque no lo crean bastante cómodo; a mi gusto, es único e inesperado. Amo el efecto que hace al caminar, provocado por el plisado y la amplitud del pantalón, al caminar la tela cae tan naturalment que es muy halagador; es perfecto para los últimos dias del verano. Este outfit es ideal para ir a desayunar con amigas o bien, con los accesorios adecuados- inclusive para asistir a una junta de trabajo casual, es tan dinámico que se puede utilizar en muchas ocasiones.

Por otro lado, les cuento que el clima al parecer me está dejando usar mis looks veraniegos un poco más de tiempo lo cual me hace bastante feliz. Creo que verano es mi estación favorita de todo el año.

En los próximos dias, subiré algunas fotos del shooting del Especial de Novias, ya salió a la venta acá en México por lo que ya me permiten mostrar las fotos. Está bastante romántico y dulce, es como un cuento de hadas.
